Overview

At 7:30 AM, you’ll be picked up from the hotel lobby and depart for Cunca Wulang Canyon, located 30 km east of Labuan Bajo. Nestled in a tropical rainforest, this beautiful spot is one of the most scenic destinations in Flores for outdoor activities. You’ll be greeted by impressive waterfalls cascading into fresh-water pools, with smaller waterfalls and rivers a few kilometers downstream.

The area offers a great hiking experience, and the moderate hike to Cunca Wulang from Wersawe Village takes you through picturesque paddy fields in various stages of planting and harvesting. Along the trail, you’ll also pass vanilla, coffee, candlenut, and cacao plants. The final, steeper section of the hike takes you through lush tropical rainforest.

After enjoying the canyon, we’ll drive back to Labuan Bajo for lunch at a local restaurant. Before lunch, we’ll make a stop at Rumah Tenun to observe the traditional ikat weaving process. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Following lunch, we’ll visit Batu Cermin Cave, where you can see fascinating coral fossils as well as stalactites and stalagmites. Next, we’ll drive to Rangko Village, where you’ll board a motorized local wooden boat for a 20-minute ride to the entrance of Rangko Cave. Inside, you’ll find a crystal-clear pool, perfect for a refreshing swim. Afterward, we’ll return to Labuan Bajo, where you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
