Continue to Fort Rotterdam, home to the Lagaligo Museum, which features exhibits on local ethnology and history. Then head to the Paotere traditional harbor, where you’ll see the iconic Phinisi schooners still in use today. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to the airport for your onward flight.
Kindly Note:
Accommodation in Sulawesi, particularly in remote or regency areas, is generally basic and may not meet international standards in terms of facilities or service. In some locations, guests may stay in local homes, sleeping on floor mattresses and sharing bathrooms equipped with squat toilets. Many accommodations lack Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and bed sizes vary—most commonly offering only queen-size beds. Hotels are often older, with minimal renovations, and provide simple breakfast options. Travelers are advised to be prepared for modest conditions and a more authentic local experience.
